A wonderful stay

One of the best holiday cottages that we have ever used. Furniture, decoration, fixtures all of a very high level. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of this property. Radcot Bridge Cottage FAQs

How many people can stay?

The Cottage can accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms, all with king-sized beds.

Are dogs allowed?

Absolutely, two well-behaved dogs are most welcome.

Where can we go walking?

The Thames footpath is opposite the cottage and there are easy walks upstream to Kelmscott (3 miles) and Lechlade (6 miles), or downstream to Tadpole Bridge (3 miles). In addition there is a 6 mile circular walk to the village of Clanfield, which has the amazing bakery Blake's Kitchen, and the White Horse Hills are a short drive way and these have stunning views over the Thames Valley.

How close is the nearest pub?

The Swan pub is a minutes walk away on the other side of the river. There are a host of other great pubs (most of which serve food) in the locality, you can check these out on the 'Local Info' page on this website.

Is there access into the river?

The cottage garden runs down to the Thames. There is a mooring platform overlooking the river and a slip-way where swimmers can enter the water or paddle-boards and canoes can be launched. Please be aware that anyone entering the water does so entirely at their own risk.

Can we hire paddleboards?

During the summer months paddleboards can be hired from Cotswold Canoe Hire at nearby Lechlade. Tell them you're staying at Radcot Bridge Cottage and they'll deliver the boards down to the cottage

Can we go fishing?

You are welcome to bring your fishing gear and cast off from the garden of the cottage.
